Shibari Performances
D” has been performing her entire life, which first started out as a competitive figure skater, to then performing as a aerialist in the air on various aerial disciplines. She now specializing in Self-Suspension Shibari and Hair Suspension with her solo performances. Outside of her specialty crafts she performs on the stages, she also performers as professional Shibari rigger.
With her Shibari rigging performances she performs artistic mesmerizing detailed rope work, described as stems extended from her muses body. A sensual poetic act of power exchange with unspoken words, bound in synergetic energy. The connection between both performers in the act is often viewed as a composed dance, setting the audience members into a trance, during the show.
Self-Suspension Shibari
D” performs Self Suspension Shibari where she ties herself up and suspends herself into the air. Her acts with the Shibari ropes are dynamic, with a flow of dance and contortion in the air. The ropes as an extension of her body, with movement expression she brings sensuality and raw dark elegance into her shows. She has brought her Shibari performances to stages and events around the globe.
